There are “Discover Scuba” courses, which are an insight to diving. However, if you wish to obtain a certificate in diving, you may do so by continuing to the next level, where your discover scuba course experience will contribute towards obtaining the First Lever Diver Certificate.

Olympus ATV drive
Mt. Olympus is not only the highest mountain in the country at 2.919 khm, this most carefully protected of Greece’s national parks also boasts the greatest concentration of flora and fauna, huge expanses of forest and the crystal clear waters of the Enipeas River. Wild flowers abound. Throughout the summer discover with your ATVs the forest paths that are studded with gentians, tulips, fritillaries and lilies, supplemented by orchids in early summer. Wild herbs scent the hillsides, and wild strawberries will have just begun ripening enough for a snack. The forests begin as dense brush in the lower regions and become opulent stands of fir, pine and beech trees at higher elevations. Swooping from the treetops is an unbelievable variety of birds, from vultures, eagles, peregrines, falcons and buzzards, to warblers, thrushes, and woodpeckers.

Mussel Harvest
You depart from Paralia’s port and travel by boat to Alykes at the North part of Pieria. There you will approach professional boats that harvest mussels from the local sea-farms and experience the whole procedure from up close. Also you’ll be able to eat the mussels that you harvest, either raw with lemon or roast. Then you will stop at Alykes where salt is being gathered. Next to the salt mountains there are “pans” of mud where you can have facial and body masks. Mud is known for its healing attributes as well as its anti-ageing elements.
